In a tight game it was the Chainsaw Proctologists 4, the Santa Fe Trailer
Bitches 2 in 12 innings at Trailer Park.
The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. Chainsaw won the game
in the 12th inning. Jose Vidro led off and started the rally when he
tripled, and an error was also committed, which scored a run. Jack Wilson
came to the plate and stroked a one-base hit. After an out was recorded,
Norris Hopper stepped up to the plate and he laced a base-hit. Willy Taveras
followed and he hit a sacrifice fly scoring the final run of the inning.
Chainsaw won despite being out-hit by Santa Fe 15 hits to 9.
David Weathers(4-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings. Joel
Zumaya(1-1) suffered the loss in relief. He gave up 2 runs and 3 hits in 1
inning.
The winning ways continue for Chainsaw. They now have a record of 8-2 in
recent days. With the loss Santa Fe now has a record of 38-44.
